Welcome Stan

So on Saturday, I get home and my mom said that my camera was on my bed. . . I paused for a moment, wondering what could she mean, when she clarified it, "Your camera came, its in your room" I freaked out and ran down the hallway. . hehe

It was four days early. . I'm amazed, and a bit ashamed that I sorta yelled at Amazon about it. . .heh. I will have photo's up later, but his name is Stan, Stan the camera man

YEAH!!!!

I just recieved comfirmation that my camera was shipped yesterday. So it will be here next week!!! I'm soo excited!! *Jumps up and down* I was really hoping it would come before Super Bowl, that way I could use it and play around with it around everyone. . . I'm soo happy

I want my camera NOW, I got the super saving shipping, and it said it would be coming in 5-9 days, well now it looks like it wont be here in like 14-18 days. . . >.< that makes me mad, they should have said that, because I would have gotten the upgrade in shipping, I sent Amazon.com a comment about it. . .so there. . . change the sticken message people!!!

New Movies

OMG, I am soo excited about the NEW Indiana Jones movie that is due out this May. I loved Harrison Ford in these films, and I am thrilled they are doing another one. Many may say he is too old, well guess what, he's playing his age in this film, SO THERE!!!, plus. . . he looks really really good for being over 60









I love Natalie Portman, she is such an awesome actress, plus she is a really good role model.

Heath Ledger died today at the age of 28. I used to have a crush on him at one time. This is really sad, apparently it was drug OD. Shocking, and I really have no words for it. . .

This is my new baby, which will be coming soon. . . I can't wait. I was really happy that Sara, and Cole helped me pick this one out, I think it's going to be a really good camera. But now I am going to begin my resume with Tom.

Uncertain

So Tom has finally gotten a new job. It will soo much better than his other one. I am soo happy for him, I have to take him out to celebrate sometime soon. It will be awesome. So it looks like things are moving up in the world.

So I'm pretty much set on a certain digital camera. But I keep wondering, how much would I use it. I do have to ask myself that question. I wish I knew, I wish I could look into the future and see that. But if I had that power, well I wouldn't be working where I am right now. So I guess. . . I just wanted to send that question out to the world.

So yesterday was the Michigan Primaries, and well it was a hard choice, but because I like her veiws better (and not because she's a woman) I voted for Hilary Clinton.

Obama does have a lot of strong points, but him and John Edwards were protesting the Primaries in Michigan because it was too early, Michigan Primaries are usually in Feb. So really there was only one choice.
I'm still sad the Al Gore didn't run. . . but oh well. . .He still gives his thanks for those who voted

New Music

Alright, so I have been looking at some new music, and in the Indy circut, which I hail from, these two ladies couldn't be more different from one another, but yet they are both really really good.




Ingrid Michaelson is folk indy, she's soft and melodic, which is really good for reading.






Kate Nash on the other hand, is really really British. And she does swear quiet a bit, but its alright cause its good crap.

My Mum's pen friend who lives in Japan sent her some pictures from Christmas.

Taiko, is the one in the purple shirt, she is the one who writes my Mum. That is her daughter, son-in law, and her husband on the right. She also has a few grandchildren, and her parents are there aswell. And check out the food heh

Books

So I have been reading novel lately, and well this is one of the ones my Mom got me over Christmas. It was really good, but not really about Hemingway, more about his last three years alive with Valerie Hemingway, someone who admired him, and married his astranged son after his death. It is really good though.




This book I am reading right now. It is really good so far. If you love the novel "On the Road"


Then you will love this novel. Its about Jack Kerouac, and is really good, thus far.

New Semester, and Books

So today, once again NMC classes begin, and what another busy semester it will be. I am back in the S.H.I.T building, that's Scholars Hall Institute of Teaching rather, heh interesting name isn't it. Well either way, I am currently getting ready for my Creative writing class to begin. I'm excited for it to start. But either way.

Last week I was really sick, heh throwing up and everything. But now that the doctors gave me a super strong drug, I am all better now, well not completly, but I am well on the raod to recovery.
So late last week Sara mentioned that we should do a 52 books a year thing, a book a week, which I think would be a blast. So I will now start reporting all the books on here that I have read this year. I have a long list so far, and am very far ahead so far since it is only the third week of the year, and I have already read nearly seven books. But I will post all about them later.

X-MAS, NEW YEARS, and SCHOOL

Alright, so Christmas is over, and the New year is here. . . YEAH!!. . . 2008 a leap year.

IT was a good Christmas, got a lot of nice things, new tires from my Dad, which I really needed badly. Some clothes from Judy, an Art stand from Toms parents, Ernest Hemingway Biography from my Mom, among other things, new boots and socks, and a pretty necklace from Tom, and a lot more. . . heh

And sooo school begins once again next week. . . yea. . . ugh. . .I'm not really looking forward to my GVSU classes, but I do have Creative Writing at NMC, which should be a lot of fun.


But my break has been nice, I've been working a lot, which is good, and I have been getting a lot of reading done. Saw Juno with Tom last weekend, and that was really good. I enjoyed that movie quiet a bit.
But I think I am now ready for classes to begin again. . .
