Mardi Gras

Well it's Fat Tuesday, the last day of Mardi Gras, which means its going to be VERY busy at work tonight. . . .*sighs* We have a band playing tonight at the resturant that I work at. . . its I'm not all thrilled about it. . .oh well. . . . it's all money.

I really don't want to have class this Saturday, but after that only two more classes, so at least it will be over with soon. But after this class, the next one wont be for another three weeks. That way I can get my observation done. I think I'll go to the High School to do some observing of a High School class, shouldn't be too hard, I was there only three years ago. Really seems longer then that, but oh well.

Weekend of Bliss

Well Valentine's Day, rather the day afterwards went very nicely. I meet Tom at Espresso Bay, and we had coffee, we he had coffee, I had already had my fill of coffee for the day. He gave me such beautiful flowers, chocolate and a little stuffed kitty. It was so nice. My parents were away for the weekend, so Tom came over and spent Friday and Saturday night with me. It was really nice to come home to someone other then just the dog, and cat. Not that I don't mind, but it was just comforting. I honestly must say I wish Monday would have never come. That it would just be Groundhogs Day (early 1990's movie with Bill Murray, who relives the same day over and over again). But all good things come to an end, and now it is Monday once again. . . .

On Saturday Tom and I went to Punzel's out in Interlochen. It was so cool, it was a shop with Swedish, Finnish, and Norweigen things there, they had everything to imagine. It was really cold in the building though, but Tom really enjoyed the place.

But now I am sitting at the University Center just waiting to go to class. . . Town is crazy busy cause the local area school's don't have school today >.< BLEH, I know I loved it when I was in High School, but now I don't cause people are running rampant. Darn them all!!!!

Belated Valentine's Day

Happy Belated Valentine's Day everyone!!!!

So, I'm really thinking that V-Day is today, since I didn't get a chance to spend it with my special someone, So Tom and I are doing something tonight.

Anyways, well last night was really busy at work, and it was all two-tops walking in, of course V-Day is like the biggest date night of the year. Heh, but I feel at the top of the stairs in the beginning of the night, so my foot was hurting the whole night. It's still hurts a little, but not as bad.

I'm getting really tired of snow, and cold. . .it wouldn't be quiet as bad if it wasn't minus five or ten during the day, I can handle 29-35 degree's but when it drops below zero, thats just too cold.

Metric

Well another band I have discovered in my underground look about, its the band Metric. Female lead singer, with haunting vocals, with a twist of a sound to them. Punk/gothic/rock n roll. An interesting combination. Check them out.
